Top Eleven Mascots

Student Forums for 8th and 9th grade students who plan to attend San Juan Hills High School occurred on September 6 and 7, 2006. The students worked with the SJHHS Planning Team teachers to narrow the 117 mascot and 93 school colors suggestions we received from the community to a "Top Ten" list. By the end of the two forums, the students were able to reduce the list of mascots to eleven, and the list of school colors to seventeen. The 8th and 9th grade students who live in the San Juan Hills High School attendance area, or will attend SJHHS in September 2007, will be able to vote through this website beginning September 25, 2006.

Our next step is to work with a small group of student leaders and Planning Team members to reduce this list to a top three mascots and top three school colors for a student vote through this website.
