Victor De La Cruz received his Bachelor of Arts in Choral Music Education from California State University, Fullerton, and has enjoyed singing in venues around the world. He has extensive choral performance experience, including performances at the Hollywood Bowl with the Los Angeles Philharmonic under the famous composer John Williams, Disney Concert Hall under Maestro Mauceri, the Pantages Theatre for Stephen Schwartz's birthday celebration, and the Staples Center. In addition, he was involved in recording the chorus parts for Eric Whitacre's opera Paradise Lost under Eric Whitacre himself. He has performed in Australia, Hungary, Slovakia, Poland, and Italy, and most recently performed with Andy Williams at Segerstrom Concert Hall and in Andrea Bocelli’s My Christmas holiday concert tour performance in Los Angeles. Teaching, however, is Mr. DLC’s favorite musical endeavor. As a conductor, he has prepared choruses for high school, college, and professional conductors. He continues to enjoy teaching music here at San Juan Hills High School and developing musicians for the future.
