PE Activities

Physical Education Activities course is designed to provide students with the knowledge and skills necessary to develop and maintain an active lifestyle throughout their lifetime.  Students will learn how they can achieve a high level of physical fitness by understanding key concepts of health-related fitness and skills-related fitness.  Health-related fitness concepts such as cardio respiratory endurance, muscular strength, and flexibility will be integrated with skills-related concepts such as agility, coordination, balance, and speed.  Understanding and developing these skills will provide students with the knowledge base and confidence to participate in a wide-range of individual sports, team sports, outdoor activities, and recreational activities.
