My undergraduate biology degree (microbiology emphasis) is through San Francisco State University. I have a master's degreee in science, math, and education technology through Cal State University, San Marcos. My teaching credential is through Cal State University, Fullerton.

Teaching is my second career and by far the most rewarding!  I am a licensed clinical laboratory scientist.  I have worked as a clinical laboratory scientist at UCLA - Harbor General Hospital in Torrance, CA and in the microbiology department at Quest Diagnostics here in San Juan Capistrano. Prior to teaching here at SJHHS, I taught 7th grade science at Marco Forster Middle School for five years. This is my fifth year of teaching science here at SJHHS. My current teaching assignment is biology and AP biology.  I love working with the students and staff here at San Juan Hills High School! It feels like we are one big family!!
