Guidance Portal: Requests for Allowable Schedule Changes

https://guidance.cusdonline.com/

As we begin the new school year, please understand that requests for allowable schedule changes cannot be honored via email or phone. Allowable schedule changes are limited to leveling down and/or dropping an extra class.  We are unable to honor requests for changes in electives, teachers, class periods, or free periods.

Requests for a level down or drop as specified above, can be made beginning the first day of school via the online Guidance Portal.  Changes must occur by Friday, September 28th.

Here is the link to the Guidance portal, we will accept requests beginning August 21st.  https://guidance.cusdonline.com/

How the portal works:

  1. Student goes to the Guidance Portal & logs in with Aeries login information

  2. Aeries FALL schedule appears with select boxes for Leveling/Dropping.

  3. The student selects the class then picks a reason (Overall Schedule too difficult. Coursework in this class is too difficult,  etc…)

  4. Email goes to the parent’s Aeries Portal email only to confirm (note: if parent never confirms the process halts)

  5. Once confirmed by parent an email goes to the teacher to conference with the student. Teacher has 2 business days to respond and conference with student.

  6. Student MUST attend classes on the original schedule and will be notified if the change is approved by their academic advisor.
